I didn't want extra boxes in the already cramped bay, I wanted to do it because I wanted it to be done and do it successfully. I've read for years how guys have done it and wiring had burned up so they went to a PWM fan controller. It looks like a lot of work because I took out the original wire run to see how it was routed and I was doing my harness inspection. But you do not really have to take the OEM wire out which bypasses the biggest work. In all it would take 2 hours tops to run the new wire to the fusible link box without taking out the oem wire, run the new 70 amp relay and wire up the relays etc. I just went into detail because some guys might be curious about wiring. My setup you can even see, looks oem, and controlled by the ECU. Win win for me and now I can choose any electric fan if I wish as I have a common Metripak 630 connector. I could have done a PWM Controller and called it a day but no challenge in that for myself personally.
